Love, Compassion and Gratitude

Siri Sketch, an artist friend of mine, invited me to create an artwork for her exhibition in Northern Thailand. I met her about a year ago and instantly fell in love with her art. So when she asked me to be part of her show, I didn’t hesitate to say yes.

For this piece, I drew inspiration from traditional Thai art, symbols, and patterns. Since I’m in Thailand myself, it felt like the perfect time to immerse in its artistic traditions. While exploring books on Thai art, I was fascinated by how different it is from Western styles—especially the elongated hands and feet often seen in traditional drawings. If my translations were correct, I also discovered some beautiful old symbols representing love.

This artwork expresses love for life and gratitude. It has always been my dream to create art full-time, and being able to do this and share it with the world is something I deeply appreciate. Learning more about Thai culture through art and connecting with it here in Thailand feels like an important next step. I love discovering the meanings behind symbols humans use, and blending these cultural elements with my own pop style makes the process even more inspiring.
