Bitpops are the joyful characters of BitPopArt, known as POPs, Plebs, and Peepz. They POP UP at art events worldwide, from exhibitions and workshops to street art, often with a focus on educating people about Bitcoin.
When sharing my art, most people don’t initially realize that the “Bit” in BitPopArt represents Bitcoin, and I think that’s a good thing. If someone is curious, they’ll ask. During events, I always find a way to highlight this connection—whether it’s through the themes in my art, the story behind my work, or artist interviews. It’s a subtle yet meaningful part of what I do.
The goal during exhibitions, even those not focused on Bitcoin, is to sell my art and merchandise for Sats. At the very least, I aim to display the Sats price alongside the local currency. Since selling art for Bitcoin in galleries is still a new concept, simply showcasing both prices feels like a significant step forward.
