For the Noderunners event on November 1st in Amsterdam, I created an artwork inspired by the theme “Honey Badger Don’t Care.” Among Bitcoiners, the honey badger has become a symbol of resilience—an animal that truly doesn’t care and does wild things.

I first got inspired to make this piece after meeting Brinkie, the one who started noderunners, at the Bitcoin Friesland Meetup. His energy and enthusiasm for the event gave me the motivation to create something special. I usually only make artworks for events when I feel a real connection with the audience. Even though I can’t attend in person this time—I’ll be heading to Asia—I still felt the urge to contribute to this gathering. Because of my ongoing projects in Asia, I usually only get to join summer events back in the Netherlands and Europe.
This artwork will be auctioned at the event, and I hope it finds a new home with someone who appreciates what I create. It’s amazing to see how my art keeps evolving and how many inspiring people I get to meet along this journey.
