This artwork is about the gift Satoshi—the creator of Bitcoin—gave to humanity. If you understand Bitcoin, you’ll notice many hidden layers in this piece. From themes of freedom to the absurd and funny moments that have unfolded in the Bitcoin space over the years.
You’ll find symbols like the skull of Satoshi, references to clown world and the collapse of the fiat system, and characters like BitPops trying to wake others up—though not everyone is willing to listen.
One of my favorite subtle details is the famous Satoshi quote: “If you don’t believe me or don’t get it, I don’t have time to try to convince you, sorry..” You’ll find it hidden on one side of the art frame.
I like to show, in a fun and playful way, the positive and crazy sides of the Bitcoin world. There’s so much happening. We’ll probably never know who Satoshi really is, and honestly, that mystery is part of Bitcoin’s power. That’s why in this artwork, you’ll see a POP character flying up with the words: “I moved on to other things.” A little nod to Satoshi’s legendary exit—and a reminder that the idea is now bigger than the person.
